6MBP50VFN120-50
1200 V / 50 A Fuji Electric V series IPM in P636 with integrated drive and protection for compact 400 V drives.
The 6MBP50VFN120-50 is a 1200 V / 50 A Fuji Electric intelligent power module in the P636 package, from the widely used 6th-generation V series. V series IPMs are the proven workhorse of Fuji Electric's intelligent module line and remain the practical choice for existing platforms that are already designed around them. The module integrates a three-phase inverter bridge, its gate drivers and its protection circuits, so it is driven directly by a microcontroller with a single 15 V control supply. The built-in protection covers overcurrent, short-circuit, undervoltage lockout and overtemperature, with a fault alarm output. Its 1200 V rating gives the margin a rectified 380 to 480 V AC line needs, and the 50 A rating fits compact drives, pumps and small servo axes at 400 V. The P636 package is a board-mountable design with power terminals suited to a compact DC link. Every module is factory-traceable and ships with import declaration, certificate of origin and RoHS documentation. BeiLuo holds this V series class in stock, and our FAE team helps you confirm the trip level, the control supply and the thermal design. For new designs, the X series is the lower-loss choice, while the V series keeps proven platforms supplied.
FAE Professional Review
The 6MBP50VFN120-50 is the dependable V series IPM for 400 V class compact drives. It is not the newest chip, but it is proven, well documented and easy to design in, and because the driver and protection are integrated the board stays simple. If you are starting a new design, compare the X series for lower loss.

Frequently Asked Questions
Should I use the V series or the X series IPM?
For a brand-new design, the 7th-generation X series IPM gives lower loss and a higher operating temperature, so it is usually the better choice. The 6th-generation V series IPM remains available and is the right pick when your platform is already qualified around it.
Our FAE team can compare both on your operating point.
What protection is integrated?
The V series IPM includes overcurrent, short-circuit, undervoltage-lockout and overtemperature protection with a fault alarm output, the same protection concept as the X series. You select the sense resistor that sets the trip level and respect the alarm hold times.
